PlayStation Motion Controller Officially Named; Detailed 11-03-2010
Since it's debut at E3 2009, the PS3 motion controller has been known by the boring working title 'Motion Controller'. Just a few weeks ago it rumored to be named 'Arc', a trademark and a domain name registration backed up those claims. However, a recent finding of a trademark for the name "Move" threw us for a curveball. Finally all the speculation can end, as the real name for the PS3 motion controller has officially been revealed.
How The PlayStation Move Is NOT A Wii Remote 11-03-2010
Kotaku writes: I just played SOCOM 4 with the newly-named PlayStation Move controller. And now I know how the PlayStation 3's motion-sensitive controller is not just a me-too Wii controller.

Fewer buttons: The Move controller is actually even more streamlined than the Wii Remote. Nintendo's Remote still offers/confuses a new player with a d-pad, plus, A, minus, 1 and 2 buttons as well as a home button and B trigger. The Move has its own home button and underbelly trigger, but just five other points of button input. That makes the controller actually feel a little naked and therefore likely even less daunting to a new player - unless they need their controllers to look like TV remotes.

PlayStation Move Gets Its First Wii Port 11-03-2010
Kotaku writes: "With the PlayStation Move looking, well, similar to Nintendo's Wii Remote, you may have wondered how long it would take until it was announced a Wii game was being ported to the PS3. The answer? How about, oh, a few hours.

Warner Bros let us know today that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, a game previously headed for the Wii (and DS), will now also be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3, "with full support for PlayStation's upcoming motion controller technology"."
IGN: Motion Fighters PS3 hands on 11-03-2010
IGN writes:

"During this afternoon's reveal of PlayStation Move, there were a bunch of demos. One after another, an oh-so-cute game that ranged from smushing flying insects to playing table tennis was showcased. Then, Motion Fighter came up in the rotation and the gathering was treated to watching a shirtless dude bash a biker's face in.

When I first started playing, I dropped my hands to my side to see if the shirtless man would, and he didn't. When I put the biker in the headlock and started punching with my left wand, maybe every third punch was registering as an elbow strike on the screen. It definitely wasn't one-for-one, and it was a bit maddening."

Bayonetta: A Tighter Action Game than God Of War 3? 10-03-2010
Gameguru "The controls are so tight and have been beautifully meshed with the overall mechanics of the game that one feels deprived of the chaos when not interacting with the game. God of War 3 might have an epic scale to it with jaw dropping graphics. But one cannot help imagine that this chaos actually feels subverted to the stylized experiences that one comes across in Bayonetta."
